Today was my last long run in the training program-- 12 miles. I was excited to have a friend come along and cycle with/behind me-- until her wheels ran out of air. So bid her farewell and continued to Rock Creek Park for a surprisingly enjoyable run! I was full of energy and had pep in my step :) Rock Creek is the perfect place for people watching and being motivated by other runners to not.give.up. One more training week/weekend before the big event!
