I feel so guilty neglecting my blog, so I'll type a little somethin-somethin now even though I have a paper due tomorrow and all I have so far is a *blank page*

Picking up where I left off, I didn't have my interview with ISD yet cuz we couldn't figure out how to make Gallaudet's VP equipment compatible with the VP at ISD. So, will reschedule for this week or the first week of April, when I return from Altanta (Nat'l Assoc of School Psychology convention)
I did, however, have an interview at RSD (Roch) last Thursday, and it went really well considering his first question was "so, tell me about yourself." I hate, hate talking about myself with strangers. I'd much rather hear more about the other person first but considering that I was the one who wanted an internship, I did share a few details and ask a few questions. Next step - waiting to hear how much, if any, pay they can offer.

Speaking of Rochester, I had an unexpectedly ridiculous amount of fun there last week during spring break. Hey, I'm easy to please!! :) I was just thrilled to spend time with Jazzy, see the tri-sigs, have some california rollin' sushi, go to happy hour with justin and rae, eat at the outback, catch up with gaby, see handsome chad, check out RIT's new gym (that pool is off the hook!)

Highlights:
crossing things off our daily agenda
laughing fits at 165 about angela and christine taking the bus in Miami with their cute outfits
Pete from Nigeria complimenting my professionalism and independence ;)
actually waking up before 7:30am to run?
spending 297 hours at Dick's
discovering my fave new drink from a freshman (malibu rum with sprite hmm)
triple x-rated movie night at 202
Indian boy showing up to 171 at 4am
attempting to converse with drunken people at Zeke's
and many more lol

Last Friday, Lisa, Lori, Jazzy and I hit the road to back DC. I left my wallet at the gas station in Rochester where we stopped to fill up, of course.... I didn't realize it until hours later (thanks to Corey for getting it for me!!) I drove about 3 hours through the sunset which was nice. Got home and grabbed Jeremy for Chipotle's and gossip - yum to both! Went to bed pretty early.. reluctantly woke up the next morning for a run but with the sunshine and company it wasn't painful at all (except when we got to Jamba Juice and it was closed *frown*) Had orgasmic lunch at Cosi's and Starbucks, then got ready for JJ's birthday dinner at the lovely Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Nice! After, we rushed off in our blue outfits to Smitha's surprise birthday gathering at IndeBleu, a bar/lounge/restaurant. Liked the place, my fave part was the staff - so friendly! Many ppl showed up for Smitty - she's so loved - nothing new!! :)
Sunday was depressing - Jazzy left. But, she must have missed us too because she subconsciously left her keys at the apt so that Jeremy and I could drive all the way to Silver Spring to see her one last time *smiles sweetly*

The rest of the day I tried unsuccessfully to be productive, so postponed it til the next day. Woke up early for a Monday without classes, did laundry, paid bills, then drove my car to Gally, saw a few classmates, then ran the 3 miles home, ouch *pat on back* Of course, that wore me out so I didn't do too much the rest of the evening :-p

This morning I went to Tryst, a coffeehouse in the neighborhood, for a Chaipuccino and finally read a couple chapters in the book I've been putting off for class. Great reading environment, I have to go back more often. Afternoon class was somewhat interesting, then I headed over to my sister's firm to say hello and hear of the chaos that ensued during her weekend visit to Miami - gosh!

Ok, I think I'm all caught up now? It's nice to be back but it will be a busy next few weeks - which is a good thing!
Thanks for listening *smile*

Ooh, another recent March birthday - Justin Michael Kospa - handsome kid, my former roomie, patient person, and a "call on me anytime" friend (rare!)

*shutting up now*
