I just got a sweet email from a childhood friend in Montreal - saying that even though we've been out of touch for a while (years, really!) she'd like for me to come to her wedding in August. Hearing from her was awesome - now I'm on a trip down memory lane. I had my first rum and coke at her house! :) Countless sleepovers, talking about boys, walking through the snow to the mall, hanging out in the park doing who knows what.... Ah, those were the days. We definitely took different paths - she has two baby boys now and is soon to be married. Hopefully I'll make it there in August!
