It's been SO hard to find the time to blog! Everytime I open the site to post something, I get sidetracked with an email to answer, article to read, paper to write.... But now I've found a solution - multitasking! So I'm writing this while typing a psychoeducational report at work (with some guilt... but not too much! heh)
This past weekend, I went to Miami for some quality family time. My dad bought me a ticket for the same weekend that baby Kayla and her parents would be there - so I assumed that I'd be staying with my dad and his wife at their fancy-schmancy new house. I ended up staying at my mom's place for the whole weekend and only spent time with Daddy on Sunday - which definitely is not out of the ordinary. I had a great time though! Sitting in Mom's backyard surrounded by palm trees, catching up on news (like who drank too much at my aunt's recent 50th bday party!), being overfed at Auntie Anna's, watching my niece laugh (such a doll), having a delish brunch with Daddy and seeing his new house with an outdoor living room that is to die for. Ooh I guess now that I have a blog, I'll have to start carrying around my digital camera like Rae to give readers some visual info!
