Whoo, what a day.
Work was so overwhelming this morning - thank goodness I only stayed for 3 hours or I would have gone bonkers. I left at 12 to meet Autumn - she was sweet enough to offer her car so I could drive to Baltimore for my citizenship test/interview. Of course I got myself lost and arrived 30 mins late to the Immigration and Naturalization Service. There was no interpreter like my mom had requested - no surprise - but luckily I was able to understand Ramou, my sexy young latin interviewer, with no difficulty. Passed the test with flying colors!

1. Who is the vice-president of the US?
2. What do the stripes on the American flag mean?
3. How many stars are on the flag?
4. What was the first holiday celebrated in America?
5. How many years does a senator serve in a term?
6. What is the head of city government called? Lisa: "A governor" Ramou: "That's the head of a state" Lisa: *blushes* "A mayor"
Ramou: "Passed!!"
Apparently, I only had to get 6 questions right in a row out of 12 possible ones. I was also tested on reading, writing, and speaking skills. Not too painful.

That done, I headed over to the Honda Dealership to get stuff out of my car since it was on the way back. boo hoo. My little honda looked so sad. One of the mechanics made an offer to buy it despite the shape it is in... so I gave him my mom's number.
Leaving the dealership, I saw the Ikea sign over yonder calling my name. I had an out-of-body experience and somehow ended up driving back to DC with a bag full of picture frames and new red and yellow curtains. How'd those get in there?

I came back to Gally to return Autumn's key and do some work, but made the awesome mistake of walking by the test library where Alesia works and did the chatting that we love. :)

Happy Birthday, Alesia!! *hugs*

Just finished a personality assessment report and am heading out to the Pourhouse to chill with some deafies and have a beer or 2.

How do I feel about my day? I feel that it was productive, but pointless. Such is life. (Well, mine anyway) *wink*

Hi, I noticed on your profile that you were a fan of "The Power of One". It is my favorite book of all time! If you don't mind me asking, what particular aspect of the book did you like the most? Have you seen the movie?

You can email me at tupopus@yahoo.com

Hope to hear from you!
