Just got back from pigging out at the Indiana State Fair. I had a corn dog, funnel cake, red candy apple, and sno-cone. Also on my list were ice cream, caramel corn, and a deep-fried Snickers (Indiana delicacy), but I decided to take it easy :)
I went at around 2pm, expecting to stay for only a couple of hours, but one of the attractions was a "Dance for your Health" stage. Different groups performed - 4pm was square dancing (old people), 5pm was tap dancing (young people), 6pm was swing dancing (college people), then 7pm was ballroom dancing. I couldn't bear to leave my seat, it was all so entertaining.
Plus the people watching... Indiana seems to have a serious obesity problem, and you don't want to know how many pregnant smokers I saw. Also, not too much diversity... but at least I did get some male eye candy. That's the most important :)
So, I managed to survive my first Indianapolis Saturday by myself! So far, I'm not tired of myself YET.
